adding attachments

i cant for the life of me figure out how to add pictures. ive maxed out my attachments, i own too much. so with out too much rib jabbing to the big dumb swede, a lil help would be appreciated. make it simple cuz i am

The easiest way is to register with Photobucket then you upload a picture use the url copy and paste the url on your post.

Go down to where it says "Manage Attachments" in the "Additional options" section, and the click the "browse"

I did this recently on 300hz horn thread; I just scrubbed the URL text in box and replaced it w/ descriptive text

In the case of the link above, and Licorne's photobucket link, the description is shown b/c it is d/l from the site itself.
This is a facet of settings within the 'Miscellaneous Options' section, when...
Automatically parse links in text
and
Automatically retrieve titles from external links
...are engaged.

I will post a follow-up with these subsequently disengaged, and you will see the nessecary formatting (we hope).

it didn't work, so posting an attachment picture of the required formatting instead.

ironically, the attachment file size limitation makes it a bit hard to read. hah! Can't win tonight.

If you can't remove some of through the management tool, I agree that places like PhotoBucket are great resources for uploading images to and linking to.

I will make a note also to review the file attachment limits imposed and see what can be done.

Try the freeware software Download IrfanView to reduce the image pixel count.
